Developed for the OEM customer, these products make data transfers between an
Enhanced IDE (EIDE or PATA) host and a Hot swap Serial ATA(SATA) device
(and vice versa) a snap!
The
two-channel SATA to PATA Converter Backplane
not only converts formats and transfers
data at up to 1.5GBits/s, but also supports
hot swap abilities of the storage devices.
SATA devices connect to the backplane using
a simple hot swap adapter PCBA, while PATA
devices such as EIDE Flash Disk and 2" EIDE
HDDs, connect to the backplane using a hot
swap adapter PCBA which also includes the
PATA to SATA Conversion logic. A third PCBA
converting Serial Data to Parallel format
(and vice versa) has also been developed
to complete the suite.
